Living outdoors and surrounded by greenery

Come and live in a condominium full of nature and close to unique national parks.

Our residential project integrates the natural environment into daily living. The blue and green views of the mountain panorama surround the living area and amenity area as well. The Alajuela region boasts forested areas with coffee plantations and trees of different varieties and sizes. During the dry season, our privileged views are dotted with bright orange flowers and leaves. The Poró tree (Erythrina Poeppigiana) blooms between December and April, decorating the landscape with its vivid color. These trees are used to shade the coffee plantations, which are very common in this area.

Why 'The Canal'? What type of housing or community are they?

We name our project The Canal in memory of the old irrigation system part of the sugar mill, the most common agriculture in the area, which has been on this land for over 100 years. This canal borders the hill on which the residential and its amenities are built and today is a path that the condominiums can walk on daily. It is already paved and will be a sidewalk for recreation, sports and wellness. It is decorated with local plants and flowers that border the water flowing in the canal, adding color and decoration.

Costa Rica is a country rich in nature, you can live surrounded by greenery.

Costa Rica is the ideal location for wellness: unspoiled, green, accessible and abundant nature everywhere. With so much greenery, it is easy to treat yourself to a break from a stressful lifestyle. For those who want a deeper dive, on the property itself there is access to a river and a nearby small waterfall tucked into the jungle. Among the treetops, you can observe bird species, including toucans and hummingbirds. The small natural pool formed by the rocks below the waterfall offers a refreshing swim on hot days.

Living surrounded by greenery has benefits for the mind and overall health.

Our natural sounds and sights will bring you to inner peace and calm. The advantages of being surrounded by green nature are many. A study funded by the National Institute of Health of the United States showed how people who live in green spaces, defined in this case as having the most vegetation within 250 meters of the home, had a 12% lower mortality rate than those who did not have this environment. The correlation was higher in relation to diseases such as cancer, respiratory and kidney diseases. In addition, proximity to nature has a positive effect on mental health. Condominio El Canal offers an almost intimate proximity to the surrounding nature, which ensures that your family stays healthy.
